General Precautions We Are Taking Due to COVID-19
-
To be on the safe side, we would like you to take the following precautions:
-
We ask you not to come to the workshop if you are sick, have a temperature, or if one of your household members is in quarantine for COVID-19.
-
You will be able to transfer to another course free of charge or to get a full refund if a transfer is not possible
-
We strongly encourage all participants to apply safe practices. In particular, we emphasize the importance of washing your hands frequently and thoroughly, using hand disinfectants, avoiding handshakes and keeping a distance from other people.
-
-
Hand sanitizer will be available in the classroom and in other common areas.
-
We will increase the distance between participants. Smaller class size, bigger rooms and/or fewer people per table will be leveraged.
-
New sharpies and post-its will be handed out in class and we will ask people to take them home with them.Note: In some courses we may substitute the use of white boards and post-its with laptops and an online collaboration tool.
-
New student work books will be handed out, and should be taken home each day.
-
We will schedule mini-breaks after each group exercise for people to wash their hands or use sanitizing gel
-
Boxed lunches will be ordered from vendors such as Panera to avoid handling of food and serving utensils by other students.
-
The venue has also increased the frequency of cleaning of all rooms and equipment.
- Bottled water will be provided, and we ask that students mark their initials on the bottles with a sharpie.
-
We will minimize the use of equipment and props.
-
We will provide personal stationery where possible (eg. post-its, sharpies, notebooks, etc).
